A. We believe the inspired Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the infallible and inerrant written Word of God, and are divine, complete and sufficient revelations of His will for the salvation of mankind and the final authority for all Christian faith, life and conduct (Heb 4:12; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:19-21)

B. We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely holy and perfect and in His triunity, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4-5; Matt 3:16-17, 28:19; John 1:1; 2Cor 13:14; 1Pet 1:2).

C. We believe in the full deity (Isa 9:6; Matt 16:16; Mark 3:11, 5:7, 15:39; Luke 1:26-38, 4:41, 8:28, ; John 1:1, 49, 8:58, 11:4, 27) and full humanity (Matt 16:13, 27, 17:9, 12, 22; John 1:14; Phil 2:5-11) of Jesus Christ; that He was born of a virgin, conceived through the Holy Spirit and as such is God manifested in the flesh; that He died on the cross, a perfect and complete sacrifice, in our stead and for our sins according to the Scriptures; He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven where He sat at the right hand of the majesty on High, He is now our High Priest (Heb 2:17, 3:1, 4:14-15, 5:5-6, 10, 6:20, 7:3, 17, 21, 26) and Advocate (Job 16:19; 1 John 2:1, 1Tim 4:3) and Mediator (1Tim 2:5;  Heb 8:1, 6, 9:15, 12:24) and soon-and-coming King (Acts 20:28; Acts 2:22-24; 31-33; Gal 3:19-20; 1John 5:20; Rev )

D. We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit who was promised by the Father and the Son and was sent to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict the world of sin and to bring about regeneration, baptizing the believer into the body of which Christ is the Head, and to indwell, guide, instruct, fill, endow, equip and empower the believer for godly living and service (John 14:26, 16:13-15; Acts 5:3,4; Rom 8:9-11; 1Cor 6:19,20).

E. We believe that man was directly created by God in His own image, that all men are sinners, by nature and, as such stand condemned before God.  The entire human race is therefore, lost and only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and through regeneration of the Holy Spirit can salvation and eternal life be obtained.(Gen 1:26,27; Rom 3:10,23; Acts 3:18; Eph2:8-10)

F. We believe that the atoning death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and  salvation for all who believe and only those who personally received Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God. (Jn 1:11,12;/14:6; Acts 4:12/16:31; 1 Tim 2:5)

G. We believe in the personal visible bodily and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to complete His saving purpose and to set up His Kingdom on this earth and that this blessed hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer (Acts 1:10,11; 1Cor 15:20-28;58, Matt 24:42-44)

H. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead with all believers enjoying everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of all unbelievers experiencing judgement and everlasting and conscious punishment in hell (1 Thes 4:13-18; Jn 5:28-29; Matt 25:46)

I. We believe that the church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.  We believe the local church is a congregation of believers associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship in the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws and exercising gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word.  We believe the purpose of the church is to win people to Christ, establish them in the Word, teach and equip them for service and to meet the full spiritual needs of the community (Acts 2:42-47; 4:32-35; Matt 28:16-20; Acts 1:8; Acts 14:21-24)

J. We believe that water baptism, and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during this present age.  They are however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.(Matt 28:19-20; 1Cor 11:23-26)

K. We believe that all the saved must live in such a manner as to honour and glorify, and not bring reproach upon their Saviour and lord, and that it is the command of God to remain separate from false doctrines and sinful pleasures, practices and associations (2 Cor 6:14-16; Eph 4:20-24; 1Jn 4:1-6)
